I don't know about this model of BlackBerry, but for the Curve 8330 (and probably any other later model BlackBerry) you can do the following:
Plug it into your computer.
Start > My Computer > Removable Disk > BlackBerry > ringtones
Upload MP3s into the directory above and you should be able to use whatever MP3s you upload as ringtones.
Saves you a potential void of warranty because of the use of a third-party site.
