it is "only" 1280x720. any 3CCD takes full hd 1920x1080 and kicks this little ones ass. still a good small camera if you prefer size over quality. it is a matter of taste at the end imho.

DON'T BUY THIS CAMCORDER it gave me motion sickness watching the playback, the footage indoors and at night was so grainy it was unwatchable and the zoom noise was so loud it almost drowned out the other audio. Whats the point of small if its rubbish! I returned mine and bought a Sony handycam for virtually the same price and its far superior in terms if build and footage quality, if you want small and 7.1 megapixels with poor motion capture buy a stills camera and save money!
