I received a lot of emails about my new videos in the last couple of days. So here are some general comments:
Important: PhoneCam Magic tricks are not real magic - they are just fun short puzzles for you to solve. If they entertain you or even fool you the first time you watch them than let me know. :-)
About me: I am a professional magician and travel the world performing mostly on television and for large corporations (You will find examples of my work on my profile page).
These new "PhoneCam Magic" videos are my new hobby and I to produce them in my spare time.

quite simple. its about perspective. When the camera is right up againt the camera (just before it gets small) its swapped. It still looks big because its so close. Then he brings out the small umbrella into the open. Well put together though.

surely the guy at the end actually says "that's the key to the illusion? With the camera in the middle?" and Marco Tempest says "Yeah". I mean I still don't know exactly how he did it but i'm sure that's what I heard. I'm not even gonna watch it again in case i'm wrong.

he doesnt drop it he has a friend put the small one in front of the screen and when he moves it out of cam and when he pulls it back its done and when he moves closer to the cam he grabs the small one

no. i saw how he does it on the discovery channel. the ppl he asked to hold the camera have a small replica of the umbrella, he takes the big umbrellla and when he puts it close to the camera (hes not) its actually the ppl with the small one putting it up to the camera. and when he walks foward and it shrinks, they actually swap out and he brings the small one back with him and the ppl hide the big umbrella behind them or hand it off to someone else.

I know your comment is from a year ago, but the reason I was surprised about the min umbrella was because I wasn't sure how it was done. Of course I know magic isn't real smartass!
